Four Hours At The Capitol (2021) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
On the 6th January 2021 protesters stormed the U.S. Capitol building as the 2020 election results were being certified. This frankly outstanding documentary takes previously unseen footage and mixes it with first-hand accounts from lawmakers, staffers and those that were protesting to paint a shocking picture of events as they unfolded.  It’s a scary, overwhelming and powerful exploration of those four hours, highlighting the heroes and decisions that prevented the events from escalating even further than they did.  Honestly…  I’ve seen horror film that have made me less unsettled that this documentary did.  Even if you think you know what happened across that day, this film remains an essential watch.

Best Bit: Police restraint.
