Tremors: Shrieker Island (2020) – A ’31 Films Of Halloween’ Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
This direct to video sequel is the 7th movie in the Tremors franchise to date. And, as you’d expect, this isn’t a jumping in point for newcomers!  Yup Tremors: Shrieker Island is very much a ‘does what it says on the tin’  type of film, not great but it also not terrible with enough fun moments to get around the fact that the budget gets seriously strained at times.  In truth, this is just about above the level of the films produced by Asylum (you know Sharknado, SharkVs Something…)  but helped by a willing cast (including the returning Michael Gross).  Die hard Tremors fans will probably enjoy it but beyond that I’d be happy if they didn’t make it to No 8!

Best Bit: The ending!
