Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Oh dear Mark Wahlberg… what ARE you doing?  Yup Infinite, the sci-fi auctioneer from once promising director Antoine Fuqua is a hot mess of a movie with world building that makes no sense, special powers that come and go depending on what the story needs and a cast that are keeping a straight face vent though their eyes are clearing asking everyone to get them onto the next project.  Quick.  Sure there’s an intriguing sci-fi thriller in this story but this isn’t it – instead we get a confused, incoherence mess that reminds you more of Babylon AD than The Matrix – soulless committee-made movie making at it’s most metric driven cynical.  And the less said about Mark Wahlberg the better.  One to skip.

Best Bit: For all the wrong reasons the bike /plane jump.
