A View To A Kill (1985) – A 007 Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Roger Moore checks out from the Bond franchise (in more than one way) with his final entry – the much maligned A View To A Kill. I get it – the acting is dubious, the pace slow and it’s far away from being an ‘essential’ for the franchise.  But none of that stops it from being enjoyable. And if nothing else A View To A Kill is a LOT of fun – from Grace Jones barking mad hench-woman and a super memorable theme to one of Bond’s most coherent stories and some truly excellent set pieces – it knows its format and plays to it’s strengths.  It also never takes itself too seriously and, for once, is all the better for it.

Best Bit: Great action for an 80’s film
