Mythic Quest (Season 2) – A Quick Capsule TV Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
The second season of Apple TV’s Mythic Quest was, for sure, impacted by the ongoing COVID pandemic.  From the start this shorter season feels different from the show we saw back in 2020 – the cast is together less, there are more stand alone episodes and it feels more grown up & intimate than before.  Which is great if that’s what you are after (and I’m sure most will be).  But for me… I kinda missed the chaotic nature of Ravens Banquet.  And also missed it being about computer games.  That not to say Season 2 is a failure – far from it.  It’s confidant story telling and brilliant crafted characters are a joy to watch but it’s just a little less fun than it was first time out.  Good then but still not quite great.

Best Bit: The cast chemistry is excellant

Binge, Watch, Skip: Watch

If You Liked this Try:  The Office (TV), Veep (TV),  Silicon Valley (TV)
