Fast & Furious 9 (2021) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Fast & Furious 9 is the product of its own history.  Bigger. Bolder. Stupider.  Each film trying to top the last.  How silly this time?  Well they end up in space.  No. REALLY.  At this point there’s now nothing the Fast franchise can’t do so the rumoured Jurassic World cross over seems, in this world, not that odd at all.  As a film Fast & Furious 9 is okay – probably better than Part 8 and Hobbs & Shaw but missing the chemistry that  The Rock, Statham and Walker added.  A film with JUST Vin Diesel and Tyrese as the lead is just not as exciting.  So go in with your mind open to the stupid and you will probably enjoy it.  But equally I’m kinda over it all now…

Best Bit: Cena is a welcome addition

Cinema, Stream, Avoid: Stream

If You Liked this Try: Fast 5, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift
