The Town (2010) – A Rewatched Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Whilst the Ben Afflect directed The Town breaks no new ground what it does it does very well indeed.  A Boston set crime thriller that has a great cast (including a pleasingly evil Jeremy Renner) is complimented by a film that is tense, well acted and adeptly directed.  In fact I remember back to when I watched it first time around that I considered The Town is probably one of the biggest surprises of 2010, ending up in my top 10 for the year. In short The Town is well worth a rewatch.

Best Bit: Escaping the police

Worth A Rewatch: For sure.  Still holds up well
