School’s Out Forever (2021) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
I’m not sure why the makers of School’s Out Forever chose a knockabout title that leads you to believe this is another Anna and the Apocalypse or Shaun of The Dead Rom-Apoca-com.  It’s not.  In fact director Oliver Milburn’s film is a much darker (and considering the times we are in) quite relevant pandemic themed survival story that get’s part Lord Of The Flies part Toy Soldiers.  Yes its tone is as unbalanced and messy as its title, but when it finally gets to the story’s inevitable conclusion it proves to be just about worth the journey. So not the best film of 2021 but one I enjoyed none the less…
