One Night In Bangkok (2020) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
If you fancy a lower budget version of the Tom Cruise thriller Collateral set in Bangkok but with action star Mark Dacascos well then you are in luck because, for the most part that is exactly what you get with One Night In Bangkok – a competent and not unenjoyable thriller from journeyman director Wych Kaosayananda. The major let down here is that the final showdown between Dacascos (who is very good in the lead role) and Kane Kosugi (son of legend Sho Kosugi) is far too long coming and far too short in execution.  There’s some nice ideas in the story and the film moves at pace but at every turn you can’t help but remember that it just isn’t Collateral.

Best Bit:Dacascos Vs Kane
