Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
His House is creepy as hell. This Netflix Original British horror film starts as a pretty standard gritty and grounded human drama about the horrors of war and asylum, but quickly the film develops into a haunted house horror with two exceptionally strong performances from leads Dirisu and Mosaku, as well as some solid direction at the hands of Remi Weekes in his feature debut. It’s effective, chilling and, in the end a bit confusing. Like all good horrors should be.
Best Bit: It’s just creepy as hell.
