Greenland (2021) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
If you are expecting Greenland to feature a buff super human Gerard Butler punching asteroids to save the Earth from certain doom, you could well end up being disappointed by this 2020 disaster film.  But actually get past those expectations and Greenland is surprisingly good.  Yes thats right a Gerard Butler film played straight, directed by the team behind Angel Has Fallen, is good.  Who knew.  In fact Greenland is super tense at times and isn’t afraid to test its characters both physically and morally in unexpected ways. Butler is good, the direction tense and the FX top notch.  Highly recommended.
