Cobra Kai – (Season 3) – A Quick Capsule TV Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Nostalgia is a tricky thing.  Too little and it’s just lip service, too much and you just repeat and water down what people loved in the first place. For two seasons Cobra Kai has managed this balance perfectly, so with the arrival of its third season (and first on Netflix) can the show maintain the momentum it’s had so far?  Hell yes.  In fact Season 3 of Cobra Kai pulls even further on its’ past but never looses track of its younger cast who get time to grow & develop alongside the more established leads.  Let’s be honest at times season 3 does dial up the silly to a whole new level – from 80’s style garage fights to a house busting finale but it’s all done really well if your wiling to roll with it (and if not you probably shouldn’t be watching). Cobra Kai continues to be one of the most fun shows on TV, never taking itself too seriously despite being a much darker series overall.  A must watch.

Best Bit: The garage fight
