Twelve Monkeys (1995) – A Hall of Fame Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Twelve Monkeys, like the finest of winesgets better with age.  From Bad Pitt’s Oscar nominated twitchy madman to the decade where Bruce Willis gave a fuck, this for me is Terry Gilliam’s best work. It’s also gorgeous to look at with the future world production design striking, defying it’s super modest budget.  The narrative is strong, you never get lost (take note Tenet) and the two hour + run time flies by.  Oh and the music.  Just glorious. Twelve Monkeys is a worth addition to ANY serious collector and to our Hall of Fame!
