Sputnik (2020) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Sputnik is a solid sci-fi horror that it probably a little too long and lacks enough gore or scares to truly stand out. That said this Russian produced feature (from the Ministry of Culture no less) is entertaining enough and it’s small cast, enclosed setting and nice atmosphere makes up for a pretty unoriginal story that has more than a few call backs to super faire like The Thing and Alien.  So not essential but enjoyable none the less.

Best Bit: Feeding tine

Buy, Stream, Avoid: Stream

If You Liked this Try: Alien, Life, The Thing
