The New Mutants (2020) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Anyone expecting The New Mutants to be a spectacular failure will be disappointed… the only thing spectacular about this film is just how bland and dull it ultimately is.  Yup after 3 years of waiting, more release dates than you can shake a stick at and several rumour reshoots Josh Boones X-Men movie finally arrives and, well, it just wasn’t worth the drama.  In reality this should have gone direct to Netflix and been buried like the Cloverfields of this world  -it just ends up not being worth the considerable conversations and debates.  Thankfully The X-Men are back in the hands of Disney now and we can forget everything from X2…

Best Bit: Williams is pretty good.

Buy, Stream, Avoid: Avoid

If You Liked this Try: X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men 2, Fantastic Four
