Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Shallow Grave launched Danny Boyle, Ewan McGregor and Christopher Eccleston to a global audience. The fact that they would all collaborate multiple times across films as diverse as Trainspotting and 28 Days Later is a credit to the relationship they must have developed shooting this 90’s classic. This black comedy crime film remains a tightly plotted and tensely crafted thriller that has you on the edge of your seat for its tight run time. Much overlooked in the years allowing, Shallow Grave is well worth revisiting.
