Phil’s Top 5… Trailers that Ruined The Film

Each week Phil, from Phil’s Quick Capsule Review, takes a look at a different movie or TV related Top Five.  This time out: Top 5 Movie Trailers That Ruined the actual film

Close but no cigar: Terminator Genisys, Speed,The Island, Terminator 2 ,  Children of Men

5 – The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers
Gandolf died in the previous film.  Well he didn’t and we know this thanks to the Two Towers trailers.

4 -The Amazing Spiderman 2
A double epic fail here as the the trailer throws in shots of a falling Stacy (thus confirmed her fate) and the final shot of the film with Rhino.

3 – Terminator Salvation
Sam Worthington is a Terminator.  Great twist. If we hadn’t already seen it in the trailer

2 – GoldenEye
Sean Bean is dead.  Oh no he isn’t he’s the films big bad.

1 – Jurassic Park Fallen Kingdom
EVERY. KEY. MOMENT. Yup between two trailers the film’s narrative is basically laid out for you to see end to end. Including one of the last few shots of the film.
