Split – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
After many years in the wilderness making near unwatchable tat (see The Happening, Lady In The Water and The Last Airbender) M Night Shyamalan is back and he’s good again.  Mostly.  To be fair Split suffers from all the issues that his previous films did – poor acting, dead eyed stares and pretty ropey dialogue – but it’s interesting idea, THAT ending and a masterful performance from McAvoy makes this one more than worth a watch.  And it’s been a LONG time since I said that about a Shyamalan film…

Best Bit: McAvoy and THAT Ending

Buy, Stream, Avoid: Stream

If You Liked this Try: Unbreakable, The Sixth Sense, The Village

IMDB Rating: 6 out of 10 stars
