Get Out – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Get Out is one of the best reviewed films of 2017 and you can see why – it’s super tense, expertly directed and deeply layered with a quirky tone that effortlessly veers between shocking violence to comedy.  It’s not perfect – the last third whilst good doesn’t quite land and the rationale that sits underneath doesn’t convince.  BUT Peele handles the film well and there’s few other films that handle building tension better than is.
