Quick Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
The Signal is a low budget sci-fi that mostly punches well above it’s weight both in terms of it’s story and effects.  That said, the film doesn’t always hit the lofty heights it aiming for and the denouement is somewhat confused and weak. BUT what comes before it – from the impressive young cast to the tight direction and editing is actually really fun and it’s nice seeing a lower budget film take such an impressive direction with it’s story.  So well worth watch overall.
