Quick Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Zoom should be applauded for trying to do something different.  That it didn’t quite pull it off is another thing all together but in this day of cookie cutter comic book films, reboots, remakes, sequels and super hero movies at least Zoom tried. If a multi dimension story between a comic book writer, a novelist and a film director sounds like it’s probably a hot mess you’d be right but it has it’s moments and my love affair with Alison Pill (started with the Newsroom) continues here.  It’s worth a watch and you may well connect with it better than me!

Best Bit:  Alison Pill

Buy, Stream, Avoid: Stream

If You Liked this Try: Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Ghost World, Mystery Men
