War Of The Worlds (Season 2) – A Quick Capsule TV Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
The second season of War Of The Worlds succeeds in picking up the pace (maybe a little TOO much at first), forwarding the story in an interesting and unexpected way and ends up feeling a bit more complete than the more scattershot freshman season. It’s still very much one of the most downbeat and depressing shows on TV but it does work… after all it is the end of the world.  The cast are still solid, even if the aliens early lack of obvious motivation hampers any empathy (and their familiar look makes it hard at times to work out who is who).  The fact it’s been renewed for a third season uncut the ending but i’ll be interested in seeing where this goes from here.

Best Bit: A strong ending… or was it?

Binge, Watch, Skip: Watch
