Pig (2021) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Another day another Nicolas Cage movie – it feels like the former Ghost Rider is now competing with Bruce Willis for the most amount of feature films released in a year.  The difference is that whilst Willis has very much given up and is churning out… we’ll… shit, Cage continues to be involved in some pretty interesting and out there films.  Mandy, Color Out of Space, Willys Wonderland… all at the least different.  And then there’s Pig.  A film about a Pig.  No really.  And it’s fine.  Not the classic many critics have heralded but for sure between Cage and the bat shit mental story there is enough here to pass the sub two hour run time and it is the first revenge film about a missing Pig.  So thats something I guess.

Best Bit: Cage is excellent
