Cleanin’ Up The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters (2020) -A Ghostbusters: Afterlife Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
If you liked Life After Flash then CleaninUp The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters takes an equally impressive deep dive into another well loved 80’s classic.  As always the success of these kinda fan films (this was a Kickstarter project) is the access to those behind the film and Cleanin’ The Town manages some impressive interviews with almost all the cast and crew.  Except Bill Murray.  Who doesn’t feature at all.  And this is an issue because, let’s be honest, he’s probably the one person you WANT to hear from.    Overall I enjoyed Cleanin’ The Town a lot BUT its style was far too dry and the running time too long.  It’s interesting for sure but by the end you feel a little overwhelmed.

Best Bit: Marshmallow man

If You Liked this Try: Life After Flash, The Hamster Factor and Other Tales of Twelve Monkeys, Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse, Ghostbusters
