No Time To Die Week: Quantum Of Solace (2008) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Okay so it has it’s flaws and certainly wasn’t well received when it was originally released in 2008 but I’ve always been a mini apologist for Quantum Of Solace.  Hurt by the writers strike and feeling like the work of three different directors (oddly it wasn’t) , QoS sits in the Tomorrow Never Dies camp of having to follow up a great film at a bad time, and for sure with these issues it was never going hit the heights of ‘lightening in a bottle’ Casino Royal.  But this 007 adventure is still a damn reasonable action movie with enough ‘holy fuck’ moments to keep even the toughest action fan enthralled. For me Quantum Of Solace is well worth a revisit…
