Midnight in the Switchgrass (2021) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
There was a time when a new Bruce Willis film excited me.  Hell there was probably a time when it excited HIM. Not any more.  $1 million a day gets you Bruce pretty much regardless of the quality of project and, once again, he turns up to get his pay check this time in the dull, lifeless and massively generic Midnight in the Switchgrass – a film where Megan Fox is actually one of the better things about it (and that hasn’t been said in a LONG time).  Willis delivered little moire than a cameo here (probably a $2million job at best) and, as usual, his story line does nothing but justify his picture on the poster.  The rest of the film ? You’ve seen it before – better, smarter and with cast who care.
