The Little Things (2021) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Like a flashback to the kind of cop serial killer films that the 90’s used to give us, The Little Things  is little more than a well cast, solid thriller that offers nothing new and mostly fails to leap outside its conventional narrative. Denzel Washington gives it his all as always and the paring with Remi Malik mostly works. Jared Leto plays his role well and there’s load of great supporting cast but the film just doesn’t gel together as well as you would hope with a cast this strong.  So watchable for sure but there are better films, even in these fallow times.

Best Bit:Washington is suitably great
