Man On Wire (2008) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Man On Wire tells the story of one of the most audacious and breathtaking stunts every committed, as it chronicles Philippe Petit’s 1974 high-wire walk between the Twin Towers of New York’s World Trade Center.  It’s stunning stuff and the documentary does a great job allowing the quirky characters involved shine, focusing more on the motivation and desire than the act itself.   Whilst Robert Zemeckis brought this to life with his film The Walk, nothing beats seeing it through the eyes of those who were there.  Well worth a watch.

Best Bit: The walk
