Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Finding Ohana isn’t a terrible film. But for a film that trades so hard on the legacy of The Goonies (referencing it directly on numerous occasions) it’s odd just how flat and over long this Netflix original feels.  Don’t get me wrong it has a few nice moments but by the end it steps a little too much into Moana territory, but criminally never really getting out of second gear.  Kids will probably enjoy it but to be honest you’d be better off going back to the film that it drew so much inspiration from… yup The Goonies.
