Honest Thief (2020) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Liam Neeson has had an odd career.  On one hand he’s blown us away with his award winning turns in films like Schindler’s List.  On the other he’s running around with a gruff voice punching people in throw away fare like The Commuter. Honest Thief sits firmly in the second camp.  And whilst there’s nothing wrong with Honest Thief in the end, it’s just not that exciting especially when we’ve seen it all so many time before (and often better).  Neeson is looking like he doesn’t want to be there, Jai Courtney is, well Jai Courtney and the film limps along.  You won’t be bored but if you want to see Liam Neeson punching people I’d watch Taken.

Best Bit: Liam slips into his Taken voice

If You Liked this Try: Taken, Non-Stop, The Commuter
