Peninsula (2020) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Following up from the 2016 instant classic that was Train to Busan was always going to be a challenge. And straight out the gates I can tell you Peninsula falls short of that very high bar. But it will depend on what you want to just how short. Peninsula see is more like Fury Road with Zombies.  Less story, less character and MUCH more spectacle.  This is full on post-apocalypse Zombie hell on speed with a dose of LSD thrown in for good measure.  It’s bat shit mental and I kinda loved that.  Yup those wanting the cerebral  Train to Busan sequel they think deserve may well hate Peninsula but I got a hell of a lot of fun out of this.  So there you go… one for people who just want to see cars mowing down zombies.

Best Bit: Zombies meet Mad Max!
