Nocturne (2020) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
My second ‘Welcome to the Blumhouse’ feature is a step up from the lacklustre The Lie but it still ventures into territory that Netflix’s own The Perfection covered pretty well last year.  That said there’s still a lot to like in this supernatural horror film written and directed by Zu Quirke and starring the impressive Sydney Sweeney. Nocturne  is atmospheric, smart and well directed and whilst it may not be the most original film out there, it’s still pretty enjoyable.  Not peak Blumhouse for sure but still worth a watch.

Best Bit: The party
