Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Will The Babysitter: Killer Queen win any awards in 2020? Hell no. But still McG’s horror comedy sequel is a riot and certainly a worthy sequel to the excellent 2017 film The Babysitter. Dialling it up to 11 was the right move and the cast are obviously having fun – from Bella Thrones odd cheerleader to Robbie Amell’s oddly shirtless guy they know exactly what film they are in, who the target market is and where the film will live and die. Yup it’s silly, yup it’s forgettable but it’s the type of film we ALL need in this odd and dark times.
Best Bit: Ah THAT’s why it’s called that… also the boat!
