Unhinged (2020) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
And we are back!  Yes cinemas have officially reopened and to kick things off we have and Unhinged Russell Crowe. No sorry Russell Crowe IN Unhinged.  But considering his past actions (not least lobbing bones at people) you kinda get the feeling this was a role that Crowe was destined to play.  Seriously though whilst Unhinged breaks zero new ground and steps happily in the footsteps of better films like Breakdown, Falling Down and Duel it’s still a tense, old school thriller that clocks in at under 90 minutes and never gets dull.  It even throws a few nice surprises in along the way.  So as the first new film to hit cinemas in 4 months you could to do far worse.

Best Bit: Crowe is barking

Cinema, Stream, Avoid: Cinema but mostly as I haven’t been in ages!

If You Liked this Try: Breakdown, Falling Down, Duel
