Back to the Future Part 2 (1989) – A Rewatched Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Back to the Future Part 2 is often considered a lesser film to the original Back To The Future movie.  And probably rightly so.  It’s clever for sure, weaving different time frames and moments back into the story, but it’s messier, less well told and at times needs to calm down a bit.  But, all these points aside, it’s also still bloody great fun.  As you;’d expect it’s Michael J Fox that once again steels the show here – super charming and obviously enjoying playing the multiple different roles (including his won daughter!) with ample comedy support from a great cast.  The film still zips along and never gets boring and is full of 80’s charm, even if they got 2015 totally wrong ( I mean we only, sadly, got up to Jaws 4). In short Back to the Future Part 2 is a worthy sequel to a classic film.

Best Bit: The Future… well 2015 at least!

Worth A Rewatch: Huh? It’s Back To The Future silly.  Of course.
