Back To The Future (1985) – A Hall of Fame Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Robert Zemeckis’ classic Back To The Future is back in the cinema thanks to Covid19 decimating the release schedule for 2020.  And oddly this is the first time I’d ever watched the film on the big screen.  And guess what? Back To The Future is better than ever.  In fact as Adam Smith from Empire Magazine once aid: “…if you don’t like Back To The Future, it’s difficult to believe that you like films at all”.  And it’s true… it’s just a fun, uncynical and gloriously entertaining film that delivers across ever moment of its run time.  From it’s pitch perfect cast, sharp script and cheeky edge (lets be honest this is about a mum who falls in love with her son)… it’s just flawless.  A worthy addition to our Hall of Fame…

Best Bit: Seeing this on the BIG screen after 35 years!
