We Summon the Darkness (2020) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
We Summon the Darkness tries it’s best with a game cast, a ‘clever’ twist that most will see coming mile off and a few nice gory moments but as you watch it (or not) you’ll quickly start to release that it’s nothing you haven’t seen done a hundred times before.  And often MUCH better.  Cult, Murder, Twist and turns. Unexpected visitors. Things spiralling out of control…. We Summon the Darkness  could almost be called We Summon the Tropes for the way it wheels them out liberally.   Yes there’s worse ways to spend an evening and at least the good looking cast make the film easy on the eye, but is it wrong to ask for just a little more?

Best Bit: Yup just as I thought…

Buy, Stream, Avoid: Stream

If You Liked this Try: Bloodline, Hellfest, MA, The Craft
