The Last of Us Part 2 – A Quick Capsule Game Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
The Last of Us Part 2 is probably the most adult, cinematic and story focused mainstream game ever released.  In fact it’s so packed with story – and considerable twists and turns as you would expect along the way – that you hardly notice just how little the game play has changed since 2013’s original PS3 release of The Last of Us.  That said considering how groundbreaking that was it’s not a negative but you certainly get the feeling that, to Naughty Dog at least, the game play comes second to the story.  Pushing the PS4 to its limits The Last of Us Part 2 is probably the best experience anyone will ever put onto the console for many years to come – from its stunning graphics to its unparalleled story this is an almost a perfect experience.  Why almost? Well a bit TOO much running round looking for supplies and maybe a BIT long overall knocks it back from a 10/10 but make no mistake The Last of Us Part 2 is a must play for any console gamer.

Best Bit: The early twist.
