Scoob! (2020) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
An animated reboot of Scooby Doo is long overdue in my opinion.  It’s a shame then that for all it’s good ideas Scoob! just wasn’t the film I needed to fill that gap. Look its not bad.  I laughed. I wasn’t THAT bored.  But I wanted more of a traditional Scooby Doo story – you know haunted mansions, masked janitors that kinda thing.  What you get is a globe trotting team up movie that looses some of the more intimate charm of the Scooby Doo universe.  Points for Captain Caveman cameo however.  So not a total failure but I feel there’s a better film to be made with the rather excellent voice cast on hand.

Best Bit: Young Scoob!
