Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Telling the true two life story of world-renowned civil rights defence attorney Bryan Stevenson as he works to free a wrongly condemned death row prisoner, Just Mercy is a super solid, interesting and occasionally scary look into the flawed American judicial system with two exceptional central performances from Jordon and Fox. The only thing that lets Just Mercy down is a lack of pace that sees the film stumble at times across a two hour plus run time. This aside Just Mercy is an acting tour de-force.
Best Bit: Fox is outstanding
