Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark is as near perfect a film as you will get.  Yup it’s the same Spielberg classic actioner that we’ve seen a hundred times before but it’s amazing that, even after nearly 40 years, it still holds up perfectly and introducing it to my daughter I was surprised just how much she loved it also. The pacing, set up and action is second to none, all pulled together expertly by one of THE most iconic performances ever committed to film.  It’s not my favourite of the trilogy (Crusade is) but Raiders is probably the best.  A worthy entry into our Hall Of fame and one of the best films ever made.

Best Bit: Chasing the ark
