Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Bloodshot isn’t terrible. It also isn’t very good. The problem here is that Diesel still struggles to add any level of depth to his character. In essence you have another Dominic Toretto type – a stoic action man who goes out and kills a lot of faceless/nameless bad guys. It’s something you’ve seen a million times before. Often from Diesel. The other issue here is production wise Bloodshot is so lacking, not least the London scenes which are hysterically bad. On top of this the film has a serious dubbing issue with dialogue just not matching up to the film. Really sloppy. By the end I realised that I’d just switched off and no longer cared which tells you all you need to know.
Best Bit: Urm… the London scene and accents or all the wrong reasons
