Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
What happens if you mix maverick director Richard Stanley, the works of HP Lovecraft and a fully unleashed Nicolas Cage.  Well you get Color Out of Space… a film that competes with 2018’s Mandy for Cage’s most dialled up to 11 film! It’s honestly insane… but all in a good way as it mixes elements from The Thing, Society, Mandy and many more along the way in what at times seem’s like a bets of horror!  Stanley has been hit and miss but here, obviously allowed the freedom to deliver his film, once again shows why he was once considered to be a filmmaker to watch. Color Out of Space won’t be for every one but I really enjoyed it.
