Rabid (2019) – A ’31 Films Of Halloween’ Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
The Soska Sistser’s remake of David Cronenberg’s Rabid doesn’t really add much to what is regarded as somewhat of a genre classic.  It’s not bad – in fact it has a few decent gore moments – but in its desire to pay homage to the legendary film and director it fails tread it’s own path.  Sadly the Soska Sister’s have yet to wow me and, like a lot of modern horror, Rabid (2019) needed to dial it up to 11.  So terrible… no? Essential… not even close.
