Ant-Man & The Wasp (2018) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Ant-Man & The Wasp is a whole lot of fun and a much needed palate cleanser after the far more serious Avengers: Infinity War.  Re-teaming Rudd, Lilly and Douglas proves that lightening can strike twice with their excellant chemistry once more grounding the film’s more spectacular moments with heart and soul.  And those moments come thick and fast but as is now the case these days almost all are referenced or shown outright in the trailer. What let’s this film down is a criminally weak villain in The Ghost and the film is only saved in this respect by the always awesome work of Walton Goggins as the second villian, who at least gives the film some much needed menace. Overall this isn’t top draw Marvel but there’s so much fun to be had here you have to ask does that REALLY matter?

Best Bit: The central trip are great together

Cinema, Stream, Avoid: Cinema
