Rise of the Footsoldier 3: The Pat Tate Story – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Rise of the Footsoldier 3 is yet another film (probably now the 1 millionth) to somehow associate itself with the infamous/boring Essex Range Rover murders that has been a staple of low budget British filmmaking for nearly 15 years now.  This time a prequel (with a cast that are now 10 years older than they were in the original), telling the story of Pat Tate – a loathsome gangster who says cunt a lot.  It’s all pretty standard stuff except that, other than a script mostly that defaults to the c-bomb in almost every possible way, it’s actually pretty decent fun. Yes it’s silly, yes it’s OTT and yes it seems to be setting a record for how many times you can say c*nt but it’s a markable step above other films of its ilk and, if this is your bag, worth a watch.

Best Bit: Cunty Cunt Cunt Script
