Mom And Dad – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Mom And Dad is un-PC, brutal and often over the top. Well it does star Nicolas Cage.  But Cage aside (who delivers his one of his better cracked to 11 performances) , Mom And Dad delivers a fun (if pitch black) premise that manages to keep itself in check obvious eschewing the uber violent trappings of gore porn splatter films to ensure the darkly comic edge is remains in place.   The lead teens hold the film well, the effects are great and yup it has Nicolas Cage being Nicolas Cage. It’s fun, dark and well worth a watch.
