Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets isn’t quite the car crash you have been led to believe. In fact if you consider it to be some kind of belated sequel to The Fifth Element, you can start to forgive it’s some what less successful moments and enjoy those occasions when it does actually work.  Besson delivers a visually stunning film for sure, a real one off.  He just forget to deliver a story to match, a reasonable run time or a cast who can, like, act.  But for every moment it goes a bit Ruby Rhod, there are others that leave you mouth open.  So a mixed bag but one you should find JUST about enough to enjoy in.

Best Bit: The opening
