The Hitman’s Bodyguard – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
The Hitman’s Bodyguard is actually better than I thought it would be (some critics have been pretty brutal).  The action was at times very inventive, the script full of some good one liners and the rapport between leads Reynolds and Jackson sparks perfectly. It’s not perfect by any means – the joke runs a bit thin by the end, Jackson/Reynolds basically play Deadpool/Pulp Fiction characters and it’s probably one of the most predictable films I’ve seen in a long time BUT I had a lot of fun watching it, was never bored and laughed lots.  Save it for a beer and curry.

Best Bit: The Chemistry between the leads
