Beauty And The Beast (2017) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
It’s fair to say that watching the live action Beauty And The Beast that it feels like Emma Watson was born to be a Disney princess.  Her doe eyes, freckles and boundless charm feel make her perfectly cast in the role of Belle.  What’s more Belle brings a fair degree of independence as is far away from being a helpless passenger here.  She’s the best thing about this highly enjoyable entry in the Disney Live Action Remake franchise.  Beyond Watson the film is well directed, the support cast are charming, the effects for Beast flawless and the songs well staged. If it has a fault it’s that it seemingly adheres too much to the animated film.  This aside, there’s loads to enjoy here and no doubt the film will charm kids by the bucket load.

Best Bit: Emma Watson
